  3. ≤Getting the "EAK >"-prompt:≥
  4. By using the terminalmode you can test, if your
  5. box is correct connected to the PC.
  6. After the input ≤<Enter>≥ (or ≤<Escape>≥
  7. (or ≤<+> <+> <+>≥ and a short delay if the box is in
  8. bridge mode) you have to get the ⌠EAK >⌡-prompt.
  9.  
  10. If you don't get this prompt, you have to check
  11. the connection to the box and the settings for
  12. port (COM1:, COM2:, LPT1: or LPT2:) and baudrate.

  15. ≤Download:≥
  16. By pressing ⌠<F9>⌡ in terminal mode you can activate
  17. a download. Data received from the port is written to
  18. the ASCII textfile NET-CONT.DLD. If this file already
  19. exists, you can choose if you want to overwrite it.

  22. ≤Hex-Download:≥
  23. ⌠<Alt>-<F9>⌡ activates (and stops) a hex-download.
  24. (16 bytes for every line with ASCII codes).
  25. The data is written to the textfile NET-CONT.HEX.

  28. ≤Timestamp:≥
  29. You can toggle by ⌠<F8>⌡ the timestamp option.
  30. The terminal creates for each received line a time
  31. information, which is shown in a separate window.
  32. If a download is active, than this time information
  33. is written to the download file too.

  36. ≤Load a new firmwareversion:≥
  37. If you have an EEPROM version of the Ethernet Box,
  38. you can load a new firmwareversion by ⌠<F5>⌡.
  39. The new verion must be in the file PGMEAK.HEX in
  40. the actual directory and the PC has to be connected
  41. ≤serial≥ to the Ethernet Box.

  44. Use ⌠<F10>⌡ to quit the terminalmode.
